ZIVARA builds software for clients and operates its own products. This policy explains what this website collects when you visit it, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

Who we are

ZIVARA is the trading name of ZIVARA Corporation Private Limited, a company registered in India and based in Villupuram, Tamil Nadu. For anything in this policy, write to contact@zivara.co and a person will reply.

What this site collects

Information you send us

This website has no sign-up and no account. If you email us — from a link on this site or otherwise — we receive whatever you choose to put in that email: typically your name, your email address, your company and a description of what you want built. We keep it so we can reply and, if we work together, so we have a record of the engagement.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages people read and how they arrived. It sets cookies and records information such as the pages you view, approximate location derived from your IP address, your referrer, and your browser and device type. We use it in aggregate; we do not try to identify individual visitors, and we do not run advertising or remarketing pixels on this site.

Hosting and security logs

The site is served by Cloudflare, which keeps standard request logs for delivery, performance and abuse prevention.

Why we are allowed to hold it

For visitors in regions with data-protection legislation such as the GDPR: we rely on your consent for analytics cookies, and on our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site and in responding to enquiries you send us. Where an engagement follows, we rely on the performance of a contract.

Cookies

The only cookies this site sets are Google Analytics cookies, used to measure traffic. You can block or delete them in your browser at any time, or use Google's opt-out add-on; nothing on the site stops working if you do.

Who else sees your data

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising. Data is processed by the services that make this site run — Google (analytics), Cloudflare (hosting and delivery) and our email provider — each acting on our instructions. We disclose information beyond that only where the law requires it.

Where it is processed

These providers operate globally, so your data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States. We rely on the transfer safeguards those providers have in place.

How long we keep it

Analytics data follows Google Analytics' retention settings. Email correspondence is kept for as long as it is useful to the relationship, and records connected to a signed engagement are kept for as long as our legal and accounting obligations require.

Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Write to contact@zivara.co and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK you also have the right to complain to your data-protection authority.

Children

This site is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.

Our products

ZivaOffice, ZivaPilot and StarTime are separate products with their own accounts, their own data and their own privacy terms. This policy covers zivara.co only.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
